Nominate someone to be recognized at our Annual Meeting on Monday, September 30th. We will be honoring winners from 4 categories.

Direct Service Professional (DSP) of the Year

To recognize a direct care staff member who demonstrates exceptional sensitivity to people with disabilities and who exhibits quality work within the position held.
Nominations to come from program supervisors and caregivers.

Super Sibling of the Year

To recognize a brother or sister who has demonstrated through his/her actions a positive attitude that enhances the quality of life for their sibling with a disability. The person who is selected serves as a role model, peer and mentor to his/her sibling in their home and in the community.
Nominations to come from parents/caregivers.

Community Member/Partner of the Year

To recognize extraordinary and meritorious service of an individual or business who has substantially contributed integrity and dedication in support of persons with disabilities. Their generous contributions of time and talents have enhanced the work of The Arc.
Nominations to come from The Arc’s leadership team and Board of Directors.

Employer of the Year

To recognize a local employer who has been a friend to The Arc and our Supported Employment Program, through hiring participants or allowing job shadows or internships. Their commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace is inspiring.
