Introduction to IAble FREE Presentation

Please join The Arc of East Central Iowa and State Treasurer Roby Smith’s team for an introduction to IAble! This powerful savings tool was created after the federal Achieving a Better Life Experience (ABLE) Act was passed and is designed to help individuals with disabilities save money while maintaining their eligibility for federal benefit programs such as Medicaid and Supplemental Security Income (SSI). Assets in an IAble account are excluded from the resource limits placed on these programs and can be used on Qualified Disability Expenses such as housing, transportation, assistive technology, food and more.
