We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual who wants to play a key role in the development, coordination and oversight of the new DHS licensed before/after school program near the College Community School District campus. This program is for school aged individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring DHS regulatory compliances, supervising and mentoring part time employees, activity planning with an emphasis on social skills, recreational activities, and safety skills, with a commitment to community inclusion. Candidates should have a minimum of one year experience in education, day care, or direct services with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. Proficiency using MS Office, Internet and Windows, and the ability to work flexible hours between 6:30 a.m. & 6:00 p.m required. Ability to build relationships with families, agency professionals, volunteers, interns, direct service providers, program evaluators, and industry professionals is key to this position. At minimum, an Associate’s Degree is required. Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or Education with Special Education endorsement, or other relevant field of study is preferred. Must be able to pass DHS physical examination and have vehicle insurance and a valid driver’s license with the ability to obtain a chauffeurs license.
